1) What this policy covers

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you use our website, book sessions, or otherwise interact with us. We manage personal information in an open and transparent way to meet the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). OAIC

2) What we collect
  • Identity & contact: name, email, phone, suburb/postcode, parent/guardian details.

  • Player details (minors): age/DOB, preferred position(s), medical/health notes you choose to provide (for session safety), emergency contact.

  • Booking & transaction: session type, dates, payment status (we do not store full card numbers).

  • Usage data: pages viewed, device/browser, IP address, cookies, analytics and social pixels (see Cookies).

  • Media: photos/video from sessions where consent is provided.

3) How we collect personal information
  • Directly from you via forms, email, phone, DM, or in-person at sessions.

  • From a parent/guardian when booking on behalf of a player under 18.

  • Automatically via cookies/analytics on our website (you can manage your choices).

  • Occasionally from third parties (e.g., referral partners, social platforms) where you have agreed or it is otherwise lawful.

 

4) Why we collect, use and disclose your information

We use personal information to:

  • manage enquiries, bookings, payments and customer support;

  • plan and deliver coaching safely (including considering medical notes you provide);

  • send service communications (confirmations, reminders, wet-weather updates);

  • improve the site and our services (analytics);

  • run marketing (only with your consent where required, and you can opt out);

  • meet legal, regulatory and insurance requirements.

 

Under the APPs we only collect information reasonably necessary for our functions and use/disclose it for the primary purpose or a related purpose you’d reasonably expect (unless we have your consent or an APP exception applies). 5) Cross-border disclosure & where data is stored

Our website is hosted on Wix. Wix stores and processes data on servers in multiple locations, including the EU (and may use other regions for backups/processing). Transfers are handled under Wix’s data protection framework. We remain responsible for personal information disclosed overseas under APP 8 and take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle it in accordance with the APPs. support.wix.com+2support.wix.com+2

For EU/EEA users, where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by GDPR (e.g., adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as implemented by Wix/our processors). gdpr-info.eu

 

6) Cookies, analytics and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, performance analytics, and (optionally) marketing/pixels. On first visit, we display a cookie banner in Wix so you can accept, reject or manage categories. You can also adjust your browser settings or withdraw consent via our banner/footer at any time. 7) Marketing communications

With your consent (or as otherwise permitted by law), we may send information about sessions, packs and clinics. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us.

 

8) Children & safeguarding

We work with young players and handle parent/guardian information for bookings. We ask parents/guardians to provide relevant medical information for safety, and to give media consent before we use any images/video. We will not knowingly collect information from a child without appropriate consent.

 

9) Access and correction

You can request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within a reasonable period and in the manner requested if reasonable and practicable (APP 12–13). If we refuse access or correction, we’ll tell you why and how to complain. OAIC

10) Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards (technical, organisational and physical) to protect personal information. Where we use third-party processors (e.g., Wix, payments, analytics), we select reputable providers and aim to include appropriate privacy protections. We keep information only as long as needed for our purposes and legal/insurance obligations, then securely delete or de-identify it.

 

11) Disclosing information to third parties

We may disclose personal information to:

  • website, hosting and IT providers (e.g., Wix);

  • analytics and marketing tools (only where consented);

  • payment processors;

  • insurers and professional advisors;

  • event/venue operators when required for safety or logistics;

  • regulators, law enforcement, or to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.
